Substance-Use-Disorder-Treatment-Addiction

Recovery from Addiction is a process that takes a great deal of self-compassion and a little support.

You may have arrived here if you…

  • Are worried about how much you drink

  • Have had loved ones voice their concern about your drinking

  • Have been in recovery for a little while, but things feel stagnate

  • Want to learn practical tools to maintain sobriety long-term

How can individual counseling help?

I help you identify what’s not working and develop a plan to make changes in your journey. Recovery is about creating balance, not just taking away a substance. I have years of experience guiding people through those first few days of recovery all the way up to years of sobriety.

My hope is that along the way you develop greater compassion for yourself, a sense of agency in your life, and fulfillment of the lifestyle you deserve.

Do you work with every stage of addiction?

Substance Use Disorder or Addiction encompasses a spectrum of severity and complexity. While some people just need a little extra support, others need medical supervision to safely detox from a substance and gain sobriety. Still others may need more than just one hour session a week, requiring group counseling and a more time intensive approach.

During your free consultation I’ll assess the level of support that will be safest for you and discuss resources that are available for those that need more support than individual counseling can provide.
